Market Bosworth neighbourhood is in South-West Leicestershire within commuting distance of the cities of Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Coventry and Birmingham. It is bordered by the parishes of Cadeby and Osbaston to the East, Carlton and Nailstone to the North, Sutton Cheney to the South and Sheepy to the West. Roads link Market Bosworth to these villages and others in the locality such as: Barton-in-the-Beans, Newbold Verdon, Barlestone, Nailstone, Shackerstone, Stapleton, Congerstone and the smaller settlement of Upton.
The Ashby de la Zouch canal and the Battlefield Line Railway run through the Parish in a general N-S direction to the West of the settlement boundary.
Historically, the settlement area was centred on the market square. In more recent times developments have tended to spread out along the wider roads to the North and on an E-W axis.
