A meeting for volunteers was held on 22nd May 2017 in the Parish Hall, the date arranged when most volunteers were available to attend.

During the course of the evening all survey areas were allocated to (or chosen by) volunteers and full information packages were handed out (area plans, report forms. Identification guides etc). The Forum Chair, John Pope, explained the objectives of the survey together with methodology and timescales – July and August are seen as the best time for identification and the aim is to have all survey results returned by the first week in September.

Once all survey reports have been collected, verified and results tabulated a full report will be submitted to Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council.
